Charlie Luxton

Charlie is passionate about the environment and communicating his enthusiasm for sustainable architecture and design.  He set up Charlie Luxton Design in 2005 and since then the practice has grown steadily to 12 people sticking to its core principles of creating beautiful, sustainable architecture fit for the 21st century.  

Charlie has combined his design work with writing and presenting television programmes for Channel 4 over the last fifteen years and regularly gives talks and presentations to a wide range of audiences about all aspects of the built environment and sustainability.

He is the Secretary of The Hook Norton Community Land Trust which is just completing a highly sustainable community led 12-unit affordable housing scheme with work hub, micro-grid and electric car club.
