Nicole Moore
Nicole is a Derby-based wild food storyteller, hunter-gatherer and conservation-led creator. Through foraging, ethical hunting and growing her own food, she creates powerful, honest content that reconnects people with where food really comes from and why our relationship with nature matters. Her storytelling doesn’t shy away from complexity - instead, it embraces the full food cycle and the realities behind modern consumption.
With almost 20 years immersed in fieldsports and conservation - from crop protection work with farmers to learning from diverse rural communities including a stint as a dairy farmer in Norway - Nicole brings lived experience and deep insight to every project. A formative year eating plant-based further shaped her understanding of sustainability, health and environmental impact on both local and global scales, strengthening her balanced, thoughtful approach to wild food narratives.
Nominated for Media Contributor of the Year 2026 by the British Shooting Show, Nicole has written for Farmers Guardian and Field magazine, spoken with Parliament leaders about the benefits of harvesting wild meat, spoken at education facilities and industry events, and regularly appears on podcasts discussing access, representation and alternative pathways into countryside life.
