Harvie Agnew

Harvie Agnew is the Senior Policy Analyst of Consents and Environmental, Social and Climate (ESG) at Solar Energy UK, where he leads on work relating to natural capital and responsible sourcing across the UK’s solar and storage sector. Over three years with SEUK he has worked with academia and ecological consultants to bring together the largest data set on biodiversity on solar farms which is used to produce the annual report, Solar Habitat, assessing monitoring data to identify trends and management best practices to promote biodiversity on solar farms.

Through this work and the support of SEUK’s steering groups and member forums he has worked to maximise opportunities for environmental enhancement, ensuring renewable energy generation can be delivered alongside meaningful nature recovery, to achieve biodiversity and clean power gains from the same areas of land.
